Earl’s on Mac with L, O’s with the Z’s, Packed and ready

Earl’s on Macleod Trail was the venue for our lunch and it is just around the corner from where we are staying.  This meant that we were able to sleep in a little this morning before making the short trip to the restaurant.

We caught up with Leela for lunch today.  Leela was The Princess’ singing teacher when The Princess lived in Calgary.  She is a beautiful person that exudes love, light and energy and it was such a pleasure to meet up with her after almost two years.

Our dining experience at Earls was very special.  Firstly, Leela was our dining partner and secondly our waitress (Lisa) provided outstanding service.  Lisa was new to the job but she made our lunch a “must come back” experience.

Leela had to return home for a sining lesson so The Princess and I took the opportunity to return to the hotel and pack for our departure from the hotel tomorrow.  We had a 4.00pm supper date so we were able to spend around and hour repacking.

Fortunately we had a light lunch at Earls so by the time we arrived at O’s  for supper our stomachs were ready for another bite to eat.

We met our friends Christine and Barbara (Christine’s Mom) and Donna (Christine’s sister) for supper.  The atmosphere at O’s was nice and the food and service was good.  A nice place to spend a couple of hours catching up with the family.

Barbara took over the management of our condo’ last year and she has been doing a great job so it was also a great opportunity to thank her for her hard work.

After a short stop at Safeway and Starbucks on the way back we got back to the hotel around 8.30pm and finalised our packing.

We made a couple of global phone calls (Vancouver and Melbourne, Australia) before settling down for the last night together for six weeks.

As I will be en route to Hong Kong from tomorrow I will not be updating the blog (the final submission for this holiday) until I arrive back in HK so you can have a two day break from me!!

We hope this finds you all feeling great, looking even better and relishing the thought that tomorrow is another great day.

Goodnight and G’day.

Roey and The Princess
